Welcome to Magatunga. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Scope

These terms govern your access to and use of the Magatunga platform, including course purchases, student areas, teacher bookings, and all related features.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Purchases & Payments

  • Courses and 1:1 sessions are sold per class or per session as listed on the platform.
  • Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). You agree to their terms.
  • Prices and taxes are shown at checkout where applicable.

4. Access to Content

  • Upon successful payment, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to access purchased content according to the course description.
  • We may update, improve, or remove content for technical or legal reasons. Where feasible, we aim to maintain equivalent access.

5. Cancellations, Refunds & EU Withdrawal Rights

If you are an EU consumer, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases. However, for digital content or services that begin during this period, you may lose this right once performance has started with your express consent. Where applicable, we will ask for your consent at checkout.

Refunds: Unless mandated by law or explicitly stated on the course page, purchases are non-refundable once access is granted or a 1:1 session has been delivered. For session rescheduling, see section 6.

6. 1:1 Sessions (Scheduling & Rescheduling)

  • Teachers may define their availability. Admin may set a last-minute booking cut-off in settings.
  • Rescheduling rules (cut-off, limits) are shown during booking. Missed sessions may be forfeited.

7. Acceptable Use

  • No unlawful, harassing, abusive, or infringing activity.
  • No sharing, reselling, or scraping of content. No account sharing.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials (courses, text, images, audio, video, software) remain the property of their respective owners. You receive a limited license for personal learning only.

9. Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Warranty & Liability

Services are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified on the platform. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
